Optical Prisms are used to redirect light at a designated angle. Optical Prisms are ideal for ray deviation, or for adjusting the orientation of an image. An Optical Prism's design determines how light interacts with it. When light enters an Optical Prism, it either reflects off an individual surface or several surfaces before exiting, or is refracted as it travels through the substrate.

Optical prism has many applications. Customers with special needs may need to order customised optical prisms to obtain the required results.

You can find Precision Prisms being used in optical systems for a variety of applications including direct view systems, multi-channel instruments, spectrometers, imaging cameras, laser scanners, anamorphic systems and more. Prisms may be presented as a plane parallel optical plate in applications such as changing light beam displacement, direction, and image orientation. 

Light guide prism could utilize total internal reflection to homogenize non-uniform light sources regardless of their spectral characteristics. General material is Fused Silica and BK7, we also could custom material and size according to your request.
