It's one of dome lens customized by our customer, we could also manufacture and design other dome lens as per your requirement.
A dome lens, or dome port in underwater photography, has a dome - shaped structure. Its main function is to correct light aberrations caused by the refractive index difference between water and air, ensuring clear image capture.
It comes in two main materials. Glass dome lenses offer top - notch light transmission and scratch resistance, but they're pricier and have a shallower depth rating. Acrylic ones are more affordable, with a deeper depth rating, though they're more reflective and scratch - prone.
Size matters too. Larger domes usually enhance corner sharpness. The choice depends on the camera sensor and lens type. Small - sensor cameras can work with smaller domes, and fisheye lenses pair well with them for close - focus wide - angle shots, while rectilinear lenses often need larger domes.
